GIFT GUIDE • CHRISTMAS 2026

Tech gifts under £25 and £50

Researched gift guide•By Smart Gear Vault•Updated 19 October 2026

Ten tech gifts at two budgets for Christmas 2026: five under £25 and five from £25 to £50. They're all useful, easy to wrap and simple to set up. Every price was checked on its Amazon UK product page on 19 October 2026.

An honest note: these are researched picks, not hands-on tests. For each product we checked that the Amazon UK title, photos and model number match the maker's own UK website. Most are sold by Amazon; we say so when they're not. Echo Pop and the Fire TV Stick HD were both above £50 on Amazon UK when we checked (about £64.99 and £59.99), so we left them out.

Tech gifts under £25

For the forgetful

Life360 Tile Mate (2024, 1-pack)

About £16.99 as of 19 October 2026

A small Bluetooth tracker for keys or a bag. Ring it from your phone (iPhone or Android), with up to 350ft range, an SOS button and a 3-year battery.

Best for: People who lose keys and don't all use iPhones

Watch out for: The battery is sealed and can't be replaced. Some extra features need a paid Life360 plan.

Budget earbuds

soundcore P30i noise-cancelling earbuds

About £23.99 as of 19 October 2026

Anker's budget earbuds with adaptive noise cancelling (up to 42dB, says soundcore), 10 hours per charge (45 with the case) and a case that doubles as a phone stand.

Best for: Teens, commuters and a spare pair for the gym

Watch out for: Budget sound, not AirPods-level. Sold by AnkerDirect UK (Anker's own store) and dispatched by Amazon.

Tech gifts from £25 to £50

For iPhone owners

Apple AirTag (2nd generation)

About £29 as of 19 October 2026

Apple's tracker with its loudest speaker yet and a longer Precision Finding range, using the Find My network to locate keys, bags or luggage.

Best for: iPhone owners who travel or misplace things

Watch out for: iPhone or iPad only. The longer Precision Finding range needs an iPhone 15 or later (not the 16e or 17e). Same price as Apple's own (£29).

Always charged

Anker Zolo power bank (20,000mAh, 30W)

About £28.99 as of 19 October 2026

A 20,000mAh power bank with a built-in USB-C cable and 30W output. Anker says it can charge an iPhone 15 up to four times.

Best for: Students, festival-goers and long journeys

Watch out for: At 318g it's heavy for a pocket. Sold by AnkerDirect UK (Anker's own store) and dispatched by Amazon.

Streaming upgrade

Roku Streaming Stick Plus (2025)

About £36.12 as of 19 October 2026

A slim 4K HDR streaming stick (HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG) that hides behind the TV, can run off the TV's USB port, and comes with a voice remote that controls TV power and volume.

Best for: Upgrading an older TV, or someone who finds their TV's apps slow

Watch out for: No Dolby Vision (that's the dearer Streaming Stick 4K). 4K needs an HDMI port with HDCP 2.2.

Privacy cover

Ring Indoor Camera Plus

About £49.99 as of 19 October 2026

Ring's 2K indoor camera with 4x zoom, better low-light video and a slide-across lens cover for privacy.

Best for: Ring and Alexa households that want an easy privacy cover

Watch out for: Right at the top of this budget. You need a Ring plan to save and review videos (a 30-day trial is included), and Ring says the microphone stays on when the cover is closed unless you turn it off in the app.
